British Curriculum (Cambridge)
Cambridge Assessment International Education is a globally recognised, rigorous curriculum respected all over the world. It emphasises enquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and analytical skills. We offer progresses through 4 key stages: Cambridge enrichment for Grades 7 – 9 and the full IGCSE, AS and A Levels.
South African IMPAQ (CAPS)
IMPAQ is a leading South African homeschooling curriculum based on the national CAPS (Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement). It provides learners with a structured, comprehensive education that aligns with South African academic standards while allowing the flexibility of homeschooling.
The American GED
The American GED® is an internationally recognised high school equivalency qualification that provides a flexible pathway to graduation. Designed for independent learners, the GED assesses core knowledge in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning Through Language Arts.

Founded in 2015 with just a handful of students, Tailored Tutoring has grown into a trusted homeschool support centre dedicated to helping parents with homeschooling from Grade 7 – 12. Our primary focus is to help students reach their full potential.
We partner with families to provide a structured, encouraging, and personalised learning environment where every learner is equipped to succeed.

Questions parents ask.
Is Tailored Tutoring a school or a tutoring centre?
We are a tutoring centre rather than a traditional school. Learners follow their chosen curriculum while receiving structured academic support, tutoring, guidance and additional support where needed.
Are learners taught in classes or individually?
Each grade is together in a small class. This allows us to give individual attention and tutor support while learners still benefit from a classroom environment. We do not combine different grades together.
Can a learner join during the school year?
Subject to availability and an assessment of their current academic pathway, learners may be able to join during the year. We first establish where they are academically and what is required to integrate them into our programme.
How do you keep parents updated?
We believe parents should have a clear understanding of how their child is progressing. We communicate with parents regarding academic progress, areas of concern and any support that may be required.
What are your hours? Do you offer aftercare?
We are open Monday to Friday from 08:15 to 14:00. We do not have an aftercare, but staff do extra lessons after 14:00 if you are running late.
